    The efficacy of the dermena® mama moisturising body lotion was confirmed by dermatological tests.

    After 3 weeks of regular use, the dermena® mama body lotion:

    • improves hydration and oils the skin according to 100%*
    • reduces the itchiness of the skin according to 97%*
    • increases skin elasticity and firmness according to 100%*
    • strengthens and regenerates the skin according to 100%*
    • reduces the dryness of the skin and protects it from excessive drying according to 100%*
    • the skin becomes nourished, soft and smooth according to 100%*

    * % of respondents who confirmed the efficacy of the shampoo after 3 weeks of regular use. The tests were carried out at an independent testing laboratory.

    To confirm the efficacy of the dermena® mama body lotion after 3 weeks of regular use, the product was subject to instrumental tests, which included a measurement of skin hydration, smoothness and roughness and a measurement of the biomechanical parameters of the skin (firmness and elasticity). The performed tests confirmed:

    • an increase of skin hydration by 48% on average
    • an improvement of skin smoothness by 32% on average
    • an increase of skin firmness and elasticity by 16% on average
    • a decrease of the scaliness index (the percentage of skin roughness) by 6.2% on average
    • in comparison with the initial condition (before applying the product).

    To illustrate the impact of the body lotion on the decrease of skin roughness after 3 weeks of regular use, photos were taken with the Skin Visiometer device, which showed visible signs of a decreased number and size of corneocytes (dead skin cells responsible for skin scaliness, orange areas):

    A unique active substance.

    Physiological active substance of vitamin origin (vitamin PP metabolite), which improves microcirculation of the scalp and strengthens the hair follicle. Irritation preventing properties of this substance have been proven during application tests (Pol. J. Pharmacol., 2003, 55, 109).     Shea butter – substances that affect the epidermis, maintaining the proper level of skin hydration by creating a thin protective film on the skin surface. They protect the deeper layers of the skin from excessive water loss and decrease the risk of being penetrated by harmful external factors. They also smooth and soften the skin, reduce TEWL (transepidermal water loss) and supplement the skin with lipids, which are washed away by soap and other detergents.

    Emollients – substances that affect the epidermis, maintaining the proper level of skin hydration by creating a thin protective film on the skin surface. They protect the deeper layers of the skin from excessive water loss and decrease the risk of being penetrated by harmful external factors. They also smooth and soften the skin, reduce TEWL (transepidermal water loss) and supplement the skin with lipids, which are washed away by soap and other detergents.

    Allantoin – a derivative of urea; it accelerates the regeneration of the epidermis, has soothing and calming properties. Allantoin moisturises and softens the skin, leaving it smooth.

    Vitamin E – so-called youth vitamin; it neutralises free radicals, which impair many cellular mechanisms. Vitamin E improves skin elasticity and softness and regenerates the lipid layer of the epidermis, increasing the capability of the skin to maintain the proper level of hydration.

    Glycerine – an effective moisturiser that binds water in the epidermis. It has soothing and smoothing properties, protects the lipid barrier of the skin and reduces TEWL. It also improves skin firmness and elasticity.

  • Use the body lotion at least twice a day (every morning and evening) depending on the needs of your skin. Apply a small amount of the product onto the skin and pat it in with gentle circular movements. Pay attention to the areas of the skin that require firming (abdomen, thighs, bottom). Avoid intensive massaging, skin stretching and mechanical pressure on the abdomen during pregnancy.
